Common questions
How do I start a session?
Open Tupp, tap any activity on the home screen, and your session begins immediately. The timer appears on your lock screen and Dynamic Island straight away.
How do I pause and resume from the lock screen?
While a session is running, expand the Live Activity on your lock screen or tap the Dynamic Island to expand it. Pause, Resume, and Stop buttons are all there — no need to unlock.
Why isn't the Live Activity showing?
Check that Live Activities are enabled for Tupp in iOS Settings → Tupp → Live Activities. You'll also need iOS 16.2 or later. If it still doesn't appear, stop and restart a session.
How do I create a custom activity?
Go to the Activities tab, tap +, and choose a name, icon, and colour. Custom activities require a PRO subscription.
What's the difference between Free and PRO?
Free gives you preset activities and the last 7 days of history. PRO unlocks unlimited custom activities, full session history, and unlimited profiles.
How do I cancel my PRO subscription?
All billing goes through Apple. Go to iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tupp PRO → Cancel Subscription.
Does my data sync across devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same Google account on any iOS device and your sessions, activities, and settings sync automatically.
A session didn't save after I stopped it.
This can happen if you're offline when you stop. Tupp syncs when your connection is restored. If a session is missing, go back online and pull to refresh your history.
How do I delete my account?
Email us at support@tupp.io with the subject "Delete my account" from your registered email address. We delete your data within 30 days.
Does Tupp work on iPad?
Yes. The app runs on iPad, though Live Activities are an iPhone-only iOS feature.
